High Intensity Interval Training For Busy People

Do you want to maintain your physical fitness but you are too busy and don’t have time to spend an hour and a half, six days per week in the gym? If your answer is “Yes”, then interval training is what you need. Interval training, especially High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is an excellent way to maximize your workout if you are limited on time. HIIT is performing a cardio exercise such as running at a very high intensity then at a lower intensity and repeating the cycle again and again. You can perform it on a stationary bike, StairMaster, mountain bike, treadmill etc. But the most efficient for fat burning and stamina building is running. This method are more effective at burning fat and maintaining, or building, muscle mass than high-volume, lower intensity aerobic work-outs.

If you want to try this method, there are several workout plans you can follow. One of the most effective plans is the Turbulence Training written by Craig Ballantyne, a strength and conditioning coach, and also a writer for Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness and a few other magazines. The goal of Turbulence Training is to provide short and intense workouts for busy people like you. Perform 3 workouts per week that last approximately 45 minutes and watch your fats melt away fast. In his ebook, Craig shows examples and what exactly you need to do. The workouts are short, intense and all laid out for you.
